Horse Riding Tae Kwon V

by Kim Seok | 2009

As a child of a toyshop owner, Kim enjoyed his plastic robot designs. Years later, as  an artist, the intimacy between Kim and wood was created by using ‘the robot’ as  the main reference for his creations. Those robots are positioned as an extension  of human contemplation about one’s own existence. He presents his robots to express themes inside the human body that can be obtained as functional devices,  which can absorb and emit energy, process signals and signs, and communicate.
