LOVE

by Robert Indiana | 2009

In 1965, Indiana was commissioned to design the annual Christmas card for the  Museum of Modern Art, New York. The card presented the word LOVE in his typical  arrangement of shapes and became the most popular product ever published by  MoMA.
However, LOVE can still go far beyond that. It’s not only the symmetry, color and  shape, but also the most straightforward discourse truthfully addressing politics,  religion and the human condition today.
